What's inside

Everything your rowing family needs for the season.

Here is what CrewConnect does today, for families following the team and for the administrators who set it up.

01

Follow the season

Schedules, regattas, results, and the team's own updates.

Team Home feed and announcements

One place to catch up on what your team is sharing.

The Home feed collects team posts and announcements so families can see what is new without digging through group texts and email threads. Open any post to read it in full and follow the conversation.

Race calendar and regatta schedules

Every regatta on the season calendar, kept separate from social plans.

The calendar lists the races and regattas your team is scheduled to attend, so you can plan travel and time off well ahead. Race schedules are kept distinct from social gatherings, so the competition calendar stays easy to read.

Regatta details, results, and lineups

See who is in the boat and how the race went, when it is posted.

Each regatta has its own page with schedule details, boat lineups, and race results as they are posted by the team. Lineups help you connect athlete names to the families you meet on the bank. Results and lineups appear when available; CrewConnect does not provide live tracking or streaming.

Race-day weather

A quick look at conditions for the regatta venue.

Where weather data is available for a regatta, the event page shows a race-day forecast so you can pack the right layers, umbrella, or sunscreen before heading to the course.

Shared regatta photo albums

Photos from the course, gathered in one album per regatta.

Families can add and browse photos in shared albums tied to each regatta, so the shots taken from the bank, the launch, and the trailer lot end up in the same place for everyone on the team.

Team news articles

Program stories and updates you can read in the app.

News articles about your program are collected in a dedicated news section, with a full reading view for each story, so families can keep up with the team without hunting across websites.

Team Instagram and social feed

The team's public social posts, alongside everything else.

When a team's social account has been configured, its feed appears in CrewConnect so families can see the program's latest posts next to schedules and announcements.

02

Connect with families

Get to know the people behind the boats and make plans together.

Family and athlete directory

Put faces to names across the whole roster.

The community directory lists athletes and families on your team with linked profiles. Open an athlete to see their connected parents, or open a parent to see the athletes they are connected to, which makes introductions at regattas much easier.

Parent profiles and athlete relationships

Tell the team who you are and which athletes you are connected to.

Each parent has a profile they can edit, with optional relationships to athletes on the roster. Linking yourself to your athlete is a choice, and it is what lets other families understand how everyone is connected.

Birthdays and hometown connections

Small details that start real conversations.

When families choose to add birthday and hometown details, the community can see upcoming birthdays and discover who comes from nearby. Only information people have entered is shown.

Direct messages, team chat, and parent circles

Message one family, a smaller group, or the whole team.

Start a direct conversation with another parent, take part in team chat, or create a parent circle for a boat, carpool, or regatta weekend. Keep the many small questions that come up over a season with the people involved.

Social events and RSVPs

Plan team dinners and gatherings with a headcount you can trust.

Families can create social events and gatherings, separate from the race calendar, with venue details and a map to help everyone find the location. RSVPs include party sizes, and hosts can see attendee details, so planning food and space is straightforward. Your own RSVPs are collected in one list.

Event contributions

Chip in for a gathering and share proof of payment.

When a gathering asks for contributions, families pay through an external Venmo link and can submit payment proof for the organizer. CrewConnect does not process card payments itself.

Travel coordination board

Compare plans for getting to and staying at regattas.

Post a ride offer or request, share open seats, or add a hotel or lodging plan for a regatta. Other families can message you directly about the details, making it easier to find people heading the same way.

03

Your account and teams

Join your school, stay in control of alerts, and keep your information within your team.

Notifications and preferences

In-app alerts, with email and text only if you want them.

CrewConnect keeps an in-app notification list for activity that matters to you. Choose supported browser alerts, opt in to email summaries or eligible text updates, and adjust categories, quiet hours, and conversation mutes. Email and SMS delivery depend on your consent, settings, and available delivery channels.

Multiple teams and school signup

Follow more than one program and switch between them.

Families join through their school's own signup page using a parent team code shared by the team. If you have athletes on more than one team, you can hold multiple memberships and switch between them in the app.

Sign-in, security, and privacy

Your information stays within the teams you are authorized to see.

Manage your account's sign-in and security settings yourself. Family directories and private team content require authorized access, keeping these community details away from the public while letting the right families and administrators connect.

Home-screen access

Keep CrewConnect a tap away on your phone.

Open CrewConnect in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen using the available browser controls. Supported phones show a short tip with the steps, so you can return to your team without searching for the website again.

04

For team administrators

Tools for the people who set up and maintain a team on CrewConnect.

School and team profiles

Set up each program's profile, sports, and branding.

Administrators manage school and team profiles within their own scope, including sport assignments and branding, so each team looks and reads like itself inside CrewConnect.

Roster imports and source review

Bring in the roster and review where team information comes from.

Administrators can import rosters and review the team website, news, and schedule sources CrewConnect uses, confirming the right links before families see the content.

Race schedule and lineup management

Keep the race calendar and boat lineups up to date.

Administrators maintain the race schedule and enter or update boat lineups for each regatta, which flow through to the family-facing calendar and regatta pages.

Administrator invitations and team codes

Bring in fellow admins and share the parent code with families.

Administrators can invite other administrators to help run a team and share the parent team code families use to join through the school's signup page.

Find your school and join your team.

Families sign up through their school's page with the parent team code.
